   Another name for Christence was Christence Tarm.

  Research Notes:

The Bygdebok states that the "Folketellingen" of 1801 shows her as 46 years old, consistent with her age at death two years later. The current online census, however, shows her age in the 1801 census as 40 years old which is probably an error.

  Medical Notes:

She died in 1803, at the age of 48 years, 7 months, 2 weeks and 5 days.

Christence married Thorer Thorersen Tarm. (Thorer Thorersen Tarm was born about 1751, died on 3 Dec 1827 in Tarm, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 11 Dec 1827 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 they were farmers [bonde og gaardebruger] on the Tarm farm in Askim. Thorer was 50 years old and Christence was "40". Her age was probably 46. They were both in their first marriage. With them were their three children: Christen (11), Christian (8), and Anne (3). ³
