Other names for Constance were Constanza de Aragón and Constance of Hungary. Noted events in her life were: • She was a Queen of Hungary from 1196 to 1204. Constance married Emeric of Hungary, son of Béla III of Hungary and Agnes de Chatillon, in 1198. (Emeric of Hungary was born in 1174 and died in 1204.) Constance next married Frederick II of Germany Hohenstaufen, son of Henry VI of Sicily Hohenstaufen and Constance of Sicily, in Feb 1210. (Frederick II of Germany Hohenstaufen was born on 26 Dec 1194 in Jesi, Ancona, Papal States and died on 13 Dec 1250 in Castel Fiorentino, Apulia, Kingdom of Sicily.) |
