Henry II de Lorraine ^{1 2}

   Another name for Henry was Henry I.

  General Notes:

Henry I was Duke of Lorraine from 1608 until his death. He married first to princess Catherine of Navarre, Duchess of Albret and sister of king Henry IV of France. With no issue from this union, he married for the second time to Margerita Gonzaga, with whom he had two daughters, both married to cousins:
- Nicoletta of Lorraine (1608-1657), married Charles III, Duke of Lorraine;
- Claudia of Lorraine (1612-1648), married Nicholas II, Duke of Lorraine.

Henry was succeeded by his younger brother.

• Acceded: Duke of Lorraine, 1608.

Henry married Catherine de Bourbon, daughter of Antoine de Bourbon and Jeanne d' Albret, in 1599. (Catherine de Bourbon was born in 1559 and died in 1604.)

Henry next married Margarita Gonzaga in 1606. (Margarita Gonzaga was born in 1591 and died in 1632.)
