Freiderike married Anton August of Schleswig-Holstein, son of Peter August of Schleswig-Holstein and Sophie von Hessen-Philippsthal, on 10 May 1754. (Anton August of Schleswig-Holstein was born on 10 Aug 1727 and died on 12 Sep 1759.) The cause of his death was killed in action.
