  General Notes:

She married, firstly, Thomas Boyd, 1st Earl of Arran, son of Robert Boyd, 1st Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Mariot Maxwell, before 26 April 1467. This marriage was annulled before 1468.

She married, secondly, James Hamilton, 1st Lord Hamilton, son of Sir James Hamilton, 5th of Cadzow and Janet Livingston, between February 1474 and April 1474.

• She was a Princess of Scotland.

Mary married James Hamilton between Feb 1474 and Apr 1474. (James Hamilton was born circa 1415 and died on 6 Nov 1479.)

  Marriage Notes:

Dispensation from the Pope was granted 25 April 1476, thereby legitimising the two children already born.
