Mary de Bohun 1
Cause of her death was childbirth. Mary married Henry IV Plantagenet, son of John of Gaunt Plantagenet and Blanche of Lancaster Plantagenet, on 27 Jul 1380 in Arundel Castle, Sussex, England. (Henry IV Plantagenet was born on 30 May 1366 in Bolingbrooke Castle, Lincolnshire, died on 20 Mar 1413 in Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England and was buried in Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England.) Marriage Notes: In 1380 Henry married Mary de Bohun. They had two daughters and four sons, one of which was the future Henry V of England. In 1406, one of their daughters, Philippa, married Eric of Pomerania, king of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. 2 |
