Eleanor married Duarte of Portugal, son of John I 'o Falso' of Avis and Philippa of Lancaster Plantagenet, on 4 Nov 1428 in Coimbra, Portugal. (Duarte of Portugal was born on 31 Oct 1391 in Viseu, Portugal, died on 13 Sep 1438 in Tomar, Portugal and was buried in Batalla.) The cause of his death was the plague.
