He acquired control of the duchy before this date due to the imprisonment of his father in London. • He was a Duke of Auvergne. • He was a Count de Clermont. Charles married Agnes de Bourgogne, daughter of John the Fearless of Burgundy and Margaret of Bavaria Wittelsbach, in 1425 in Autun, France. (Agnes de Bourgogne was born in 1407 and died on 1 Dec 1476.) |
