Sophia married Gustaf III of Sweden of Holstein-Gottorp, son of Adolphus Frederick von Holstein-Gottorp and Louise Ulrika of Prussia Hohenzollern, on 4 Nov 1766. (Gustaf III of Sweden of Holstein-Gottorp was born on 24 Jan 1746 and died on 29 Mar 1792.) The cause of his death was he was killed at a masked ball. |
