Research Notes: The 1801 census identifies her as "Inger Jacobsdtr", 50 years old, in her 3rd marriage. 3 Inger married Mattias Halvorsen Grøttvedt, son of Halvor Henriksen Grøttvedt and Ingeborg Trulsdatter. (Mattias Halvorsen Grøttvedt was born in 1747 in søndre Grøttvet, Askim, Norway and died in 1789.) Inger next married Klemet Jonsen on 9 Nov 1789 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Klemet Jonsen was born in 1753, died in Mar 1797 in søndre Grøttvet, Askim, Norway and was buried on 2 Apr 1797 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.) Marriage Notes: When they married they were recorded as Clemmeth Johnsen N. Grøtvedt og enke Inger Isachsdatter S. Grøtvedt. 1 Inger next married Kristian Kristiansen in 1798. (Kristian Kristiansen was born circa 1769 and died after 1802.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1801 they lived on and farmed the Grøtvedt Søndre farm in Askim. It was his first marriage and her third. They had her six children from her two previous marriages with them, all unmarried. She was called "Inger Jacobsdatter". 3 |
