Karoline married Martin T. Myrer, son of Tøger Kristian Brynildsen and Anne S. Andersdatter. (Martin T. Myrer was born in 1859 in Rakkestad, Østfold, Norway.)

In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed the Myrer (gaard) farm in Trøgstad. They had 2 sons and a daughter with them. Martin's brother, Johan T. (born 1875 in Trøgstad), was also there, helping with the farmwork. ¹
