   Cause of his death was accidental drowning [druknet uforvarendes] in Glomma River.

   Another name for Poul was Povel Erichsen.

On 02 January 1802 Poul bought half of the Tømt farm in Askim from his brother Tord Erichsen Aaser. On 08 January 1807 Poul bought the other half of Tømt from Simon Sørensen for 302 rdl. 3 mrk. 6 sk.

  Medical Notes:

He was 58 years 2 weeks and 3 days old when he drowned.

Poul married Kirsti Olsdatter on 15 Oct 1798 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Kirsti Olsdatter was born circa 1775 and died in 1840.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married Povel was from the Morchved farm and Kirsti was from the m. Grøtvedt farm in Askim.

The census for 1801 shows two freeholders / owners on the Haraldstad farm in Askim: Povel Erichsen, 46 years old and his wife Kirsti Olsdatter, 26 years old (no children listed), as well as Christen Knudsen, 46 years old, and his wife Berthe Johnsdatter, 47 years old. In 1805 Haraldstad was taken over by Anders Larsen Hielmarch. ^{1 3}
