Ole married Christine Michelsdatter after 1794. (Christine Michelsdatter was born circa 1760.)

In the census for 1801 Christine and Ole lived on and farmed the Garsæg Østre farm in Eidsberg. It was his first marriage and her second. With them were her 4 children from her previous marriage and their 1 child together at that time.

They moved from Eidsberg to Eeg in Askim in 1817. They had four children with them: Randi Andersdatter, 23; Anders Olsen, 17; Hans Olsen, 16; and Berthe Olsdatter, 13. ^{2 4}
