Another name for Aslaug was Aslev Thovsdotter. Aslaug married Andres Nilsson, son of Niels Tallefsen and Unknown, in 1789.1 (Andres Nilsson was born in 1762 in Lia, Kviteseid, Telemark, Norway and died in 1829 in Lia, Kviteseid, Telemark, Norway.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1801 Anders Nielsen and Aslev Thovsdotter were living at Lien under Fiaagesund Søndre in Kviteseid, Telemark. He was 39 and she was 40 years old. They were both in their first marriage and had 2 sons with them, Thov (10) and Torbiørn (3). Anders' widowed father was also living with them. 3 |
