Hans married Inger Gudbrandsdatter Krogh østre, daughter of Gulbrand Mathiesen and Tore Marie Hansdatter Krogh, on 11 Oct 1818. (Inger Gudbrandsdatter Krogh østre was born circa 1798 in Hobøl, Østfold, Norway and died after 1865.)
