In 1865 she owned and farmed the Hoel mellem farm in Trøgstad. She was 56 years old and a widow. She had two sons and three daughters with her, all unmarried: Berthe K. Amundsdatter (37), Gunhild M. Amundsdatter (29), Hans C. Amundsen (27), Theodor (23), and Thore B. Amundsdatter (16).
