  General Notes:

Svend was from Røer in Borre, Vestfold. He bought the Skavogg farm in Askim for 4 600 Spdlr. at auction on 3 November 1850.

He was married a second time with Anne Dorthea Hansdatter Graf from Trøgstad. His first wife was a daughter of Gisle Johnsen, parish priest for Tromøen and Østre Moland parish in Christiansand diocese.

The 1865 census shows him as 54 years old, owner and farming the Skavoug farm in Askim.

  Medical Notes:

He was 64 years old when he died.

Svend married Anne Dorthea Hansdatter Graf. (Anne Dorthea Hansdatter Graf was born in 1825 in Grav, Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway, died on 23 Jul 1886 in Skavoug, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 29 Jul 1886 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In June 1851 when their son Hans was christened they were called Svend Christensen og Anne Dorthea Hansdr Skavoug.

In the 1865 census they owned and farmed the Skavoug farm in Askim. They had their three daughters and son with them. Also were some servants; one was Johannes Larsen, 20 years old and born in Askim. ^{2 3}
