Another name for Svend was Sven. General Notes: On 28 March 1917 Svend took over the Skavogg farm in Askim from his widowed mother for 59 000 kroner. When he died in 1933 his wife and children continued on the farm. Svend married Esther Marie Løken, daughter of Thorvald Richard Johannesen Løken and Julie Hoel, on 10 Sep 1921 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Esther Marie Løken was born on 24 Apr 1891 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1970.)
