In the census for 1900 he was a widow and living on the Hotvedt farm in Eidsberg with his two unmarried daughters Ragna and Marie. It appears that another family living there was farming the farm then. 3
Kristen married Karoline Jensdatter. (Karoline Jensdatter was born circa 1835 and died before 1901.)
Marriage Notes:
In 1865 they owned and lived on the Hotvedt farm in Eidsberg with their two daughters and his mother (probably), Ragnild Kristendatter, who was 76 and retired there. 1
