General Notes: In the 1865 census Andreas was 34 years old, and married with a daughter and twin sons. The family was living on the Ledingsrud farm in Eidsberg with Andreas' parents and brother Thorkild. Noted events in his life were: • He was a farmer and farmowner [Gaardbruger selvejer] in 1900 in Leangsrud, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway. Andreas married Martine Halvorsen. (Martine Halvorsen was born in 1829 in Soon, Akershus, Norway.) Marriage Notes: In the 1900 census Andreas and Martine owned and farmed the Leangsrud (Ledingsrud) farm in Eidsberg. With them were their 2 daughters, a fosterdaughter, a fosterson, and Andreas brother Torkel. 1 |
