Another name for Anton was Anton Guthu. General Notes: Anton got the deed to the Gutu Vestre farm in Askim after his parents in 1899 for 4000 kr. He had already farmed it for many years. Anton married Johanne Nilsen Finnpå, daughter of Niels Frandsen and Elen K. Olsdatter, on 4 Oct 1878 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Johanne Nilsen Finnpå was born on 14 Mar 1852 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway and died in 1933.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1900 they owned and farmed the Gutu (bnr. 2) farm in Askim. They had their two surviving children and Anton's widowed father with them. |
