Noted events in his life were: • He was a canal worker in 1900 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway. "Kanalarbeider Schukert & Co elektriske kraftanlæg". Viktor married Hanna Mathilde Myhra, daughter of Kristian Hansen Sulerud and Karoline Olsen, on 20 Feb 1904 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Hanna Mathilde Myhra was born on 2 Mar 1885 in Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway, died on 11 Oct 1906 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 19 Oct 1906.) The cause of her death was tuberculosis [tæring]. Marriage Notes: In 1900 Hanna was unmarried and lived with her parents and siblings on the Myren farm in Askim. Vigtor Ekman was also living on the farm, one of six canal workers living there, most from Sweden. 4 Viktor next married Gunda Elise Karlsrud, daughter of Lars Mattisen and Bolette Julie Mattisdatter, after 1906. (Gunda Elise Karlsrud was born in 1891 in Tømtenga, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1968.) Marriage Notes: They were on the Rustad farm in Askim in 1915 and in May 1917. 7 |
