Another name for Edvard was Edvarth Johannesen. General Notes: In 1900 he owned and farmed the Lysager (gnr.93/1) farm in Eidsberg. He was a widower by then. His sons, Just and Otto, and his daughter Betsy were living with him as well as a fosterdaughter, Ragna Johansdatter Trosterud. 2 Edvard married Maren Rebekka Bergersdatter. (Maren Rebekka Bergersdatter was born in 1842 in Rødenes, Østfold, Norway and died before 1900.) Marriage Notes: In the census for 1865 Edvarth and Maren Rebekka were married, both were 24 years old, and living with his parents on the Lysager søndre farm in Eidsberg. They had a 1 year old son, Johan Rikkarth, with them. 3 |
