Maren next married Johannes Olsen Kjellås, son of Ole Olsen and Kristine Jensdatter. (Johannes Olsen Kjellås was born on 27 Mar 1834 in Kjellås, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 6 Apr 1834 in Askim, Østfold, Norway, died on 30 Mar 1877 in Tangenholtet, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 12 Apr 1877.)

  Marriage Notes:

They were called Tangeholtet in January 1863 when their daughter Lena was christened.

The census of 1865 shows them as owning and farming the Tangeholtet (plads) in Askim. Johannes was 33 and Maren Sofie was 37 years old. Her son, Thorvald Theodorsen, and their children, Ove and Lina, were with them.

When their daughter Carine was christened in December 1872 they were recorded as Johannes Olsen Tangenholtet og Maren Sophie. ^{2 3}
