In 1875 Ole farmed the Finnsrud (u. Katralen) farm in Askim after his parents-in-law. In 1880 he moved to Eidsberg and later bought the Lauvås under Vete farm there.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He was a tailor [skredder] in 1900 in Løvaas, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway. ⁴

Ole married Anne Maria Hansdatter, daughter of Hans Torsen and Ellen Pedersdatter, on 28 Dec 1875 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Anne Maria Hansdatter was born on 26 Mar 1854 in England u. Sekkelsten, Askim, Østfold, Norway, christened on 13 Apr 1854 in Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1954.)

  Marriage Notes:

In the census for 1900 they lived on the Løvaas farm in Eidsberg. They had four unmarried children with them: Sofie, Hilmar, Olaf, and Aksel. They also had two daughter-daughters with them (Sofie's daughters ?): Margit Henriksdatter (born 1895) and Signe Larsen (born 30.12.1900), both born in Eidsberg. Ole's widowed mother was also there at that time. ⁴
