Ole Olsen ^{1 2}

  General Notes:

Ole and Anikken lived on the Kverne farm in Askim during their first year of marriage. In 1826 they took over the Frydenlund u. Kvakkestad farm. Ole later went to the Netthaug u. Tovengen farm which he bought in 1855 for 180 spdl.

Ole Olsen var pensjoneert skoleholder og hadde tidligere bodd på Frydenlund.

After Anikken died in 1856, Ole lived on Netthaug farm with his daughter Olea and son Johan.

In the 1865 census Ole owned and farmed the Nethaug farm. He was 70 years old and widowed. Olea, his 44 year old unmarried daughter, was with him. His son was not there. Olea appears to have had two fostersons who were also there: Ole Christensen (13, born in Askim) and Johan Christensen (7, born in Askim). Ole and Johan are possibly the sons of Kristen Olsen Kjellås. There was also a servant, Olava Valentinsdatter (27, born in Askim).

Ole married Anikken Olsdatter circa 1821. (Anikken Olsdatter was born circa 1783, died on 7 Nov 1856 in Netthaug, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 14 Nov 1856.)
