Arne took over the Solum farm in Askim in 1964 when his sister Borghild died, for 24 000 kr. He had settled in Nittedal.

At his confirmation his birthplace is recorded as Enebak.

• He was confirmed on 1 Oct 1922 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.

Arne married Gunvor Bentsen. (Gunvor Bentsen was born in 1909 in Sulerud, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

By 2003 they had moved permanently to their summer house, Solum in Askim but they still own their apartment in Nittedal.
