In the census for 1900 Annette Kristiansdatter was a widow living on the Hestehaug (u Onstadplass) in Skiptvet. She lived from her weaving, washing, and boarding. She had two sons with her: Jens Johansen, born in Eidsberg in 1886; and Axel Forstal, born in Eidsberg in 1890. 2

The only Anette Kristiansdatter who was 15 years old in Eidsberg in the census for 1865 was the daughter of Kristian Olsen and Anne Knutsdatter on the Hauge farm:
