Gwen married Chester (Chuck) Daniel Ramsum, son of Louis Ramsum and Josephine (Josie) Wickenberg. (Chester (Chuck) Daniel Ramsum was born on 1 Dec 1919 in Hopkins, Hennepin, Minnesota, USA and died in Sep 1974.) The cause of his death was a lingering illness.

They purchased the quarter section just north of the home place [Clyde, Alberta], where Barry and Lorraine Robinson and boys now reside.

In the 1970's they sold their quarter to his brother, Harold and wife Linda and they moved with their family to Edmonton.
