In 1900 he was unmarried and living with his parents on their Hoel (gnr. 63, bnr. 1) farm in Askim. He worked on the farm.

Henrik worked his father's farm, nordre Hol, in Askim for a while before it was sold in 1909.


Henrik married Gina Gundersen Galtebu, daughter of Gunerius Gundersen Katralen and Karoline Paulsdatter Vammeli, on 11 Apr 1908 in Askim church, Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Gina Gundersen Galtebu was born on 23 Feb 1882 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)


  Marriage Notes:

They were living on Fuskplads in Askim in September 1915. 4
