In the census for 1801 there was a 7-year old Frans Christiansen living with his parents and siblings on the Hoel Store farm in Askim. This is possibly the same person who later married Maria Johannesdatter.

Frans married Maria Johannesdatter Gudderud Plads, daughter of Johannes Olsen and Berte Jensdatter, on 28 Oct 1816 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Maria Johannesdatter Gudderud Plads was born in 1795 in Haraldstad, Askim, Østfold, Norway and died in 1853.)

In September 1829 they were recorded as Frants Christiansen og Maria Johannesdatter Mørkvedt lille. They were recorded on Mørkvedt lille in November 1932. ⁴
