Ole Kristoffersen 1 2

  • Born: 1748, Tømmerås, Askim, Østfold, Norway
  • Marriage (1): Johanne Hansdatter
  • Marriage (2): Marte Valentinsdatter Gram on 26 Feb 1824 in Askim, Østfold, Norway 1
  • Died: 3 Mar 1829, Tømmerås, Askim, Østfold, Norway aged 81
  • Buried: 11 Mar 1829, Askim, Østfold, Norway

  General Notes:

Ole took over the Tømmerås farm in Askim after his parents died. He sold it it 1818 for 400 spdl. and a pension for himself and his wife.

  Research Notes:

His year of death is also, incorrectly, recorded as 1828. He was recorded as 81 years old when he died so his year of birth would have been 1748 not 1738 as recorded elsewhere.

Ole married Johanne Hansdatter. (Johanne Hansdatter was born in 1749, died in Aug 1820 in Tømmerås, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried in Aug 1820 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1801 they were on Tømmerås, Askim, both in their first marriage. Ole Christophersen was 63 years old and Johanne was 52. 3

Ole next married Marte Valentinsdatter Gram, daughter of Valentin Jensen Gram and Kristine Jensdatter Huer, on 26 Feb 1824 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Marte Valentinsdatter Gram was born circa 1783, died on 31 Dec 1835 in Eiebakke, Askim, Østfold, Norway and was buried on 9 Jan 1836 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.)

  Marriage Notes:

When they married Ole Christophersen Tømmeraas was a 75 year old widower. Marthe Valentinsdatter was a 41 year old servant on the Korsegaarden farm.
