In the 1801 census she was listed as 33 years old. She had a 40 year old sister Mari, and was probably the sister of Ole, Johannes, Christen, and Anna.


Kristine married Even Smedsen, son of Smed Eriksen Eiebakke and Gunbjør Syversdatter. (Even Smedsen was born in 1751 in Kolbjørnrud, Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway, christened on 24 Oct 1751 in Trøgstad, Østfold, Norway and died circa 1 Jul 1803 in Sulerud, Eidsberg, Østfold, Norway.)

They took over the Frosterud u. Sulerud farm in Eidsberg.

In the census for 1801 they were farming a part of the Skulerud farm in Eidsberg. They were both in their first marriage. Even was 50 years old and Kirstine was listed as 33 (she was probably 53). They had four children with them: Gunild - 24 years old; Christen - 22; Martha - 18; and Syverd - 11. Kirstine's 40 year old unmarried sister, Mari Evensdatter, was also with them. Mari kept herself with needlework. 1
