   Other names for Anikken were Anniken Christophersdatter and Anniken Schøne.

  General Notes:

After her husband died Anikken continued on the Bjørnebekk farm into the 1880's. She then sold it to her son-in-law, Johan Gustav Anderson.

When Johan bought an interest in the Grønli farm in 1897 she moved there. She was still there in 1900.

  Research Notes:

In 1865 Anikken was a 52 year old widow on Bjørnebekk. She owned it, farmed it and ran a tannery with the help of 72 year old Hans Rasmussen. At that time she had her three children with her: Anthon M. Schøne (16 yrs old), Lovise M. Schøne (14), and Maren S. Carlsdatter (9). ³

Anikken married Martin Emanuel Schøne, son of Andreas Schøne and Unknown, on 31 Oct 1849 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.¹ (Martin Emanuel Schøne was born in 1796 and died before 1865.)

The best men at their marriage were Johannes Kykkelsrud and Iver Løken. ¹
