   Other names for Anikken were Anniken Christophersdatter and Anniken Schøne.

  General Notes:

After her husband died Anikken continued on the Bjørnebekk farm into the 1880's. She then sold it to her son-in-law, Johan Gustav Anderson.

When Johan bought an interest in the Grønli farm in 1897 she moved there. She was still there in 1900.

  Research Notes:

In 1865 Anikken was a 52 year old widow on Bjørnebekk. She owned it, farmed it and ran a tannery with the help of 72 year old Hans Rasmussen. At that time she had her three children with her: Anthon M. Schøne (16 yrs old), Lovise M. Schøne (14), and Maren S. Carlsdatter (9). 3


Anikken married Martin Emanuel Schøne, son of Andreas Schøne and Unknown, on 31 Oct 1849 in Askim, Østfold, Norway.1 (Martin Emanuel Schøne was born in 1796 and died before 1865.)


  Marriage Notes:

The best men at their marriage were Johannes Kykkelsrud and Iver Løken. 1
