"Det stabiliserer seg mer på Bakker da Paul Andersen flytter hit fra Trostebekk i begynnelen av 1790-åra. I folketellingen 1801 står det at Paul er vanfør og har en pensjon på 16 rdl. Da han ble begravet i 1812, er han i kirkeboka kalt 'en gammel Holstener'. Paul var sikkert blant de norske soldatene som var med i 'toget til Holsten' 1757-62. Ved forskjellige anledninger er han betegnet korporal og sersjant. Paul kan ha blitt skadet i krigen."

  Marriage Notes:

Paul and Ingeborg farmed the Trosterud farm in Askim at the end of the 1760's. They were on the Fjell farm about 1770 and went to Trostebekk before 1772 and to Bakker in the 1790s'.

In 1801 Povel, Ingebor and their three children, Gunder, Anne, and Christian, were cottagers on the Eidareng farm in Askim. 5
