  General Notes:

In 1911 Julius bought the Simenrud (u. Søndre Løken) farm in Askim for 5300 kr. Bech was employed with the railway, Norges Statsbaner, 1907-1937.

  Research Notes:

The census for 1900 lists his birthplace as Hakedalen, Akershus.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He was a railwayman [Jernbanearbeider] in 1900 in Spydeberg, Østfold, Norway.

Julius married Anne Marie Olsen. (Anne Marie Olsen was born in 1877 in Spydeberg, Østfold, Norway and died in 1934.)

  Marriage Notes:

In 1900 they lived on the Fjeldstad farm in Spydeberg which was owned by Gunerius Fossum. They had two sons at that time: Johannes and Gunnar.

In October 1912 and in October 1915 they were living on Simenrud in Askim. ^{3 4}
